Are we witnessing the beginning of a cinematic trend in Hollywood? In Henry Cavill’s Man of Steel there is a brief moment where he is underwater and floating with no visible attempts to escape. In the trailer of Noah, Russell Crowe is filmed in a similar scene.  I think this happens more in movies that have action where they find a scene gets a reaction then Hollywood tries to fit it into their next movie until the point that it becomes cliche like the scene where Keanu Reeves avoids all of the bullets in the Matrix.  Maybe I’m jumping the gun. Only time will tell.
