Song&Crest was started with the idea that at the very core of every culture there is the purest auditory and visual representation that which the said culture holds true.

- Colleges have an Alma Matter and the team has a mascot
- Even Countries have a National anthem and a flag
Examination of music and art can tell what they value or ignore. For that reason, Song&Crest is rooted in how cultures choose to express themselves and seeking to bridge that gap between our heritage and modern world.
I come from Native American [ TLINGIT NISGA’A ] and African American parents, so Song & Crest will tend to focus on these. If we don’t discuss and teach our culture in ways that the new generations can consume it then it will be lost.
