You can site many reasons. Mp3’s , streaming services, or just access to youtube as a reason for less purchasing of albums. Female artists have to be on point with the image and style as well as have decent music to remain relevant.

Rita Ora must have a decent publicity team. She seems to get good placement with adds, and movie features, as well as appearances. I admit I like the style that I see. She has a lot of things going for her. Without google searching there isn’t a single song of hers that comes to mind.

She may have massive succes in U.K. but it hasn’t yet translated to the U.S. I don’t have the answer to that question. But when Bey, Nicki & Rih-Rih keep churning out hits the bar is set pretty high. You’ve got your work cut out for you Rita. I wish you all the best.
