Sometimes they get the castings right on the nose, and sometimes  we  can’t see what it is they are going for. When they announced the possible actresses. I was skeptical. Now they have announced that Alexandra Shipp is attached officially I’m confused. 

Reasons I don’t understand:

1. Didn’t they learn anything from that Aaliyah ‘biopic?
2. Seriously , nothing? From the Aaliyah movie.
3. Isn’t Storm supposed to be Kenyan
4. Because, Color.
