Cyhi is dope. No doubt about that. He got lyrics.  A spitter. I worry though. Yeezy has a full slate. Will a Cyhi album get enough guidance to be a success. I worry that he will fall victim to some of the lyricist of the past  with bar after bar with no Choruses. There is a difference between writing good punchlines and good songs. Just ask Papoose. Mixtapes can acceptably be all over the place. We don’t expect as much from them. Albums need a theme or a tone.  Here’s to hoping that they don’t make Cyhi sit on the shelf too long and spoil all of that talent he is showing in this video.
